British Designer Simon Pengelly founded London based Pengelly Design in 1993 after working for the Conran Design Group and the in-house design team of Habitat.

Pengelly Design Ltd now collaborates globally with the most progressive design-led companies working within the realm of transport and product design, lighting and interior design in addition to furniture design.

Pengelly began making furniture in his father’s furniture workshop when he was only eight years old and won a prize for cabinet making at the age of fifteen. This early experience earned him the skill of pragmatism that is behind his intelligent solutions. His affinity with new materials and production processes results in products that are both light weight and sustainable, yet at the same time offer timeless appeal.
